I do take exception though with one quoted prayer, “Similarly, do not afflict us, Hashem, with afflictions that we are unable to withstand, so that we strike back at you and incur retribution.” No one, under any circumstances should even think to strike back at God! I have more than enough “retribution” heaped upon and paid for by my Savior, Christ Jesus, already. PS How I wish I lived in the Grand Rapids area so that I could attend the great lectures I see notices about on the website. Deep down, I yearn to pray from my heart as these Jewish individuals.
