Big news…after fifteen years, the En-Gedi Resource Center has a brand new website at EnGediResourceCenter.com! (Please note the new URL.)
The En-Gedi Resource Center is a ministry that I co-founded in 2001 to teach Christians about the Bible in its Hebraic cultural context. It’s where I got my start as a writer, when I began drafting articles that we published online and later in books.
Last spring I was asked to take over, so this summer I worked with a college student to build a new website. It’s still a work in progress, but there are over four hundred articles up already. Hundreds more articles are still waiting to be moved from the “Classic” En-Gedi site, so it’s still available too. (Update: all articles are now moved, and the classic site has been taken down!)
On the new En-Gedi site you’ll notice that articles are arranged topically, so things are easier to find. For instance, in the section called Jesus’ Jewishness, there’s a page called Jesus’ Words in Context. Check it out—you’ll find over sixty articles on this topic on that page alone.
One unusual feature of the new site is its super-charged search bar. Instead of just searching that site, it checks both the old and new En-Gedi sites, along with a list of other Hebraic sites that have great articles. Try it out and see what you find.
Please make a note of the new EnGediResourceCenter URL and tell your friends!
